Painted Vortex is an innovative travelling art center dedicated to igniting creativity in everyone. My name is Sally and I created Painted Vortex with a fascination for science and a passion for art. My mission is to blend the worlds of art and science, offering unique, structured, and mess-controlled art parties that inspire imagination and exploration. From splatter painting to mesmerizing paint pouring , I provide a vibrant space where artistic potential knows no bounds.
My events cater to all ages, allowing participants to dive into the world of creativity through interactive and fun activities. Whether it's spin art or freestyle art stations, each experience is designed to be both educational and entertaining, making art accessible and enjoyable for everyone. I'm a mom of 2, a wife, a certified meteorologist, and an artist. I've lived in Sycamore, IL for 17 years. I'm passionate about sharing science with those around me and teaching others to unleash their creativity. Showing all people how they can make beautiful art, no matter what their skill level or experience, brings me so much joy.
