Yes! Painted Vortex is fully mobile. We bring the setup, supplies, and cleanup to your home or event location.

How far do you travel?

Painted Vortex serves Sycamore, IL and surrounding communities. Travel within approximately 20 miles of Sycamore is included. Events outside the standard service area may require a travel fee based on distance. Please contact us for details!

Base pricing includes up to 8 participants. Additional guests can be added for an extra per-guest fee depending on the experience selected.

Most parties run between 45-75 minutes, depending on the selected experience and group size.

Do you handle cleanup?

Yes! Setup and cleanup are included with every party. We use protective coverings and controlled workstations to help keep the mess contained.

No. Hosts are asked to provide tables and seating if needed. We provide all art materials and protective coverings.

How do I book a party?

Submit a booking request through the website or contact Painted Vortex directly. A $50 non-refundable deposit is required to reserve your date.

When is final payment due?

Remaining balances are due on the day of the event, by the end of the event time.

What happens if it rains?

Outdoor events may be rescheduled or switched to an indoor-friendly experience depending on availability of time and materials and weather conditions.

Are your paints washable?

We use child-friendly, washable paints whenever possible, but some staining may still occur. We recommend wearing clothes appropriate for art activities.
