What to Expect
In the Advection Lab, painters explore the mesmerizing movement of fluid paint as colors flow, collide, swirl, and transform across the canvas. Each guest creates their own one-of-a-kind fluid art masterpiece using fun paint-pouring techniques designed to produce incredible patterns, unexpected color combinations, and seriously satisfying results. No brushes, no artistic experience, and no two paintings alike! We bring the canvases, prepared paints, pouring supplies and tools, protective materials, and everything needed to clean up the mess. Includes 10 painters, canvases, all supplies, protective coverings, aprons, gloves, and all clean up. Extra guests for $15 each. Add on metallic paint for the whole party for an extra $20!
Booking & Cancellation Policy
Painted Vortex Booking Policy A $50 non-refundable deposit is required to reserve your date. Bookings are first-come, first-served and not held without a deposit. Once you request your party, I will send you an invoice for the $50 deposit. You will have 48 hours to pay this in order to reserve your date. The remaining balance will be due at the start of your event. Packages include 8 to 10 participants, depending on the chosen party. The final guest count is due 48 hours prior to the event and determines the final price. Additional guests are charged per guest, last minute additions are based on supplies available. If fewer guests attend, the price is not reduced. Setup Requirements: The host must provide adequate space and tables if needed. Turbulence Lab (Splatter Paint) requires an OUTDOOR space; water access is recommended. Painted Vortex reserves the right to adjust or cancel if setup conditions are unsafe or unsuitable. Weather Policy: In the event of poor weather, we will either reschedule your outdoor party, or switch to an indoor-friendly experience (if available). Weather-related rescheduling will not result in the loss of your deposit. Cancellations & Rescheduling: Deposits are non-refundable. Parties may be rescheduled one time with at least 24 hours’ notice, based on availability. Cancellations made within 48 hours of the event may result in forfeiture of additional payments. Cleanup & Responsibility: Painted Vortex provides protective coverings, controlled workstations, and full cleanup of materials used. While every effort is made to contain a mess, Painted Vortex is not responsible for accidental paint transfer outside the designated area or damage to surfaces not properly cleared or protected by the host. All artwork is created using child-friendly materials and may require drying time. Ceramic pieces used in the viscosity lab may be wet at the end of the event. Instructions will be provided for safe transport and drying. Events run approximately 60-90 minutes, depending on the experience. Setup typically begins 20-30 minutes prior to the start time. Late starts may result in reduced activity time. Please communicate any special needs, concerns, or event details ahead of time so we can create the best possible experience for your group.
